I may not look like I am an avid walker but I love walking. I think I love doing it mostly because I am grateful for the fact that I and still able to walk. Besides, how many adventures can you going on when you put one foot in front of the other. It is kind of philosophical when you think about it. When you walk, it takes you to places. In life, if you keep moving, it takes you places. Perhaps I was meant to be a gypsy?
Walking is good for your mental health as well as for your physical health. I find this to be true for me the mental health part of it. For me, my brain is always activated, so going for a walk is never for the exercise part, I get distracted too much. Just think of me as the dog that you are taking for a walk that is constantly stopping to sniff or do its business, that is me, always curious.
Still, I love walking. Today it is beautiful out. Good day for a mental health break and to get reacquainted with nature.
