Doing the Right thing!

Everyday I am always amazed by how many people do not know what 'doing the right thing' actually means.  Being a person who tries to live a life that I can be proud of, I know that most of the time, when faced with a problem where I need to 'do the right thing', the 'thing' that needs to be done is usually a difficult decision.  Going against authority, or standing up against some injustice, is not and never will be an easy task to achieve.  So when you are faced with a choice that makes you feel uncomfortable, you need to choose, 'what is the right thing for you?', then decide.

I am afraid of making wrong choices all the time, but that fear is not the deciding factor of how I live my life.  I will face problems.  I will look them in the eye and say to myself 'breathe', and continue on.  I will not cower when faced with choices, problems, and/or situations.   I have never been one that follows others' paths.

My happy thought today is about doing the right thing.  A friend of mine and his partner rescued a starving dog yesterday and they called the SPCA to pick her up.  I am sure that there was probably hundreds of people that have seen this dog and they did nothing.  What is that saying?  'Evil prospers when good people do nothing.'  Thankfully for this poor girl, my friend and his partner are good people.

There is still good out there, you just have to look for it and appreciate it when you see it :o)

Good Morning!

I never would have ever thought that I would love getting up early, but now that I have got my body accustomed to getting up early, I just love getting up 'top of the morn'.  It is a time that I feel so super alive.

When I was really little, my father used to be up really early and so was I.  I was my Dad's shadow, and I would follow and do whatever he was doing.  I just remember being really happy in the morning because you could see that everything was alive.

I am so glad that my body is allowing me now to enjoy something that I enjoyed so much but forgot about.  My life sometimes gets caught up in the fast pace of life, and when this happens things that I don't control takes over(I am a willing participant of this).  What takes over is this gear that tells me to STOP, break pause, whatever it is that I need to just BE.

Sometimes the things in life that seem to be easy are the most difficult.  We are not designed to have one track minds, so for most people they will set goals, and unfortunately for most, they fail.  Just like the person trying to lose a few pounds, the person who is super physically fit has to really work at being that way.  Everyone loses direction, everyone loses focus it is only when you are truly happy that you are able to understand that people fall, fail and do other f-words.  If we didn't we wouldn't be human.  Please someone tell me, who would like to be perfect?  NOT ME!!  I always liked things that were just a little flawed, it gives character.  Perfection is not a place that anyone would like to be...ever.

Keep in mind, when you wake up in the morning, make sure that the first thing you think of is something that makes you smile, giggle or laugh.  Try not to waste a wonderful day by ruining it.  Rain, Shine, Snow or Sleet...you have control over one thing in life..that is YOU!

Keep you head up and Smile...Good Morning Everyone! Oh Happy Day... :o)

Clear Mind

There is nothing worse then waking up in the morning with a full head.  I head full of things that need to be done.  For some reason, you decided to make this to-do list and it has gotten out of control.  Now where to start?

Well I always start my day off with a hot cup of something.  Whether it is a hot cup of coffee, tea or cocoa  I love taking that brief moment to press pause in my life to enjoy what it right in front of me.  When I do this, I can think and organize everything that is in my head(that garbled mess that walloped me first thing when I got up) and try to get on with my day.

Sometimes, with every good intention, this routine does not happen for me.  The only thing I try to remember is that for me, everyday is a blessing, and nothing is ever as bed as it seems.

A clear mind, a clear path, for me today this is my DAILY Happy!

My name is Jaime, spelled with an "im" not "mi".  I never question myself. I have always loved writing.  I do not have much to say about myself.  I just want everyone to know that they are not alone.  There is nothing worse in life than feeling as if you are by yourself.
