Daily Happy:
Todays happy is swimming. I have always loved swimming. It is an excellent physical activity and it can be quite fun. For someone like me, who lately is experiencing an immense amount of pain, swimming is a great option for exercising.
I am fortunate enough to know how to swim. I was in swimming lessons many years ago when I was a child. George and I made sure that Mairi had that same opportunity. Mairi's swimming lessons began in Sackville. She was terrified of the water. When we moved to Cape Breton, George and I enrolled Mairi at Kiwanas. She began at the first level as she was afraid of getting water on her face. Ashleen's swimming lessons were at the Y in Sydney. George, Mairi and I would pick her up there for weekends. I still remember how strong the smell of chlorine was at the Y. Because of these opportunities, both girls are confident swimmers, and both enjoy the water.
The girls swimming confidence and experience was heighten by the graciousness of George's Aunt Sandra and Uncle John, allowing the girls to swim in there pool. George would take them there while I was at work. Good Times. :) Because of all of these opportunities, both girls are confident swimmers, and both enjoy the water. So I am happy.
George has told me stories about when he learned how to swim. There was something mentioned about him running towards the water and not stopping...it is quite a funny story. I can just imagine him as a child, running towards the water. Such a cutie!
Anyhow...
Remember,
Be Present. Be Mindful. Be Happy!
Happy Does it! ;o)
