Daily Happy:
Now my happy for today is something that some people love and others absolutely hate. It is all about sparkles.
So there are many types of sparkles; ones you use for crafting, ones you use metaphorically, and then there are the ones that you see everyday in nature.
Any parent or person can attest to how awesome sparkles are when they are used in crafts made by your little human. It is great how the sparkles only stay on the construction paper and don't go anywhere else. Sparkles are so easy to clean up and they never end up on some adult's face post-crafting. {Only in a perfect world. Lucky for us, our world isn't perfect.}
I think that is is rather nice when you see someone who has that unexpected sparkle on their check. Every time that they talk, you try not to bring attention to the fact that you are looking at it. Or you choose to try to get it off their face and just like glue, that sparkle will not budge. No amount of elbow grease is going to remove that sucker; it is there for good. But, you know what, that is okay.
I can name a few people in my life that I would consider sparkle-y. They are people who when you see them, just the mere sight of them makes you smile. And when you talk with them, it is always such a positive experience, you can not help but leave with a good feeling in your heart. Their up-beat attitude was made to help carry us a little while, and they do not even know it. Take my sister-in-law for example. She is a wonderful person, she loves her family completely and whenever George and I see her, we feel lighter. We love her with our whole hearts. She is strong,caring and just a generally great person to be around. I/We only wish we could see her beautiful face more often. She Sparkles!
Finally the sparkles you see in everyday life. Don't believe me? Try sitting on a beach, or next to a lake, or looking at freshly-fallen snow and tell me honestly that you do not see the world's sparkles. It is awesome.
I hope that you have someone in your life that sparkles. I know I do. Remember.
Be Kind. Be Present. Be Happy.
Happy Does It!
