I know that some of you love your sunshine, and I do as well. However, one of the best memories that I have as a child was standing out in the first snowfall trying to catch the snowflakes. They come in so many different sizes and shapes, and fall at different rates of speed. They are their own personal rainbows, delicate and small, but all unique.
I loved catching snowflakes on my mittens(yes I wore mittens) and looking at them to see what that one looked like, and as quick as it landed it would disappear. Of course there was always the option of catching the little darlings on my tongue. You would think that that wouldn't be a challenge, but it was, it really was. Somehow, a light breeze would carry the snowflakes in so many directions, swirling and twirling them around, that it was a "dance of the snowflakes" that all the children would do. Your arms would expand outward welcoming the first snowfall of the season.
I never seem to worry when I am focusing on snowflakes.
Just a Happy Thought.. :o)
