Me Time

6/20/2018

Daily Happy:

Sometimes I enjoy a little quiet time. Just being able to sit and enjoy doing nothing and just relaxing is definitely something that makes me happy.

I use this time to refocus and balance myself physically, spiritually and mentally. I call it my 'time to breathe.' Sometimes it is only a small time, but it is all that I need; my philosophy is something is better than nothing. Finding your centre is an extremely important part of being and staying happy. I need to be able to recognize those moments that I need to take for me.

Some people say that by doing this you are being selfish. I say that they are wrong. There is nothing wrong with "me time." In order for you to be the best you for your family, you need to take care of yourself. A healthy you means that you love your family because you have mastered the idea that your family wants you to be healthy, because they love you.

So today, go out for a walk or sit in your yard. Enjoy the sunshine and be thankful. Take your "me time" seriously. It is as important as anything else in your life.

Pause. Breathe. Relax.

Be present. Be Happy. Be Mindful. Love Yourself.

Remember:

Happy Does It! ;o)

My name is Jaime, spelled with an "im" not "mi".  I never question myself. I have always loved writing.  I do not have much to say about myself.  I just want everyone to know that they are not alone.  There is nothing worse in life than feeling as if you are by yourself.
