Daily Happy:
This one is an easy one to write. Today my happy is my daughter's happiness. Yesterday, Mairi and her best guy Craysyn announced to their friends and family on Facebook that they are engaged.
It really wasn't a huge surprise for me when it happened. They are two people who obviously love each other. Their love is infectious to anyone who gets the honour to be around them.
I have been one of the luckiest people in the world. I have had the pleasure and honour of watching an amazing little human being grow up to be this amazing woman. She is sweet, loving, kind, fierce, stubborn, giving, full of joy, full of light, highly intelligent and to boot, she is my daughter. I am biased, but to be honest, it is the truth. Bias is what you see, truth is what I know.
There are a million other ways that this life could have turned, many many other roads that were left untouched, but I am grateful for what was laid before me, and I am thankful for it everyday.
Be present. Don't live today for tomorrow, you'd just waste today.
