Just a quickie. In the spring, summer and fall some sounds that make me feel peaceful, is the sound of water. Whether it is the sound of a soft stream etching its way down a hill, or the sound of the ocean waves crashing against the million year old granite rocks of Nova Scotia, just the sound is a soothing sound.
When I was a small girl, I would go down to West Berlin beach with my father. Dad would dig for clams and I would 'wash them', in the little cut out holes of the shore rocks. I have this distinct memory of standing on the rocks many, many times, and outstretching my arms, taking in a breath of slat water air, and watching and listening to the ocean as she sung her song. It was a rhythmic sound that would relax my mind and bring me back to earth.
I was young, but that experience has imprinted on me and now and until I die, I will always have a connection to the ocean.
Live Life, Love Life, and Relax.
As Always,
Happy Does It! ;o)
